Survival

J heeft vandaag een top dag gehad. Na een moeilijke start in zijn nieuwe klas, draait hij nu gewoon lekker mee alsof hij er altijd al bij heeft gehoord. Vandaag had hij zijn eerste uitnodiging voor een kinderfeestje van twee klasgenootjes. En wat voor een. Een echt ‘vet cool’ Survival feest. Een heerlijk middagje voor zo’n cluppie druktemakers. Lekker paintballen, stormbanen en weet ik niet meer. Met een camoband om zijn hoofd geknoopt , camovlekken op zijn gezicht geverfd en gitzwarte knieën van het vuil komt hij thuis. Hij straalt helemaal. Intens gelukkig , mijn hart zingt =)

J had a wonderful day today. After a pretty rough start in his new class, he’s now totally accepted. Today, for the first time, he was invited to a birthday party of two of his classmates. A super cool Survival themed party. Well chosen for this rowdy crowd. They had a chance to shoot with paintballs, race an obstacle course and so on. He got home with a camo bandana around his head, camo paint on his face and extremely dirty knees (never seen them this filthy). His face is beaming. Intensely happy, my heart sings =)

Too bad no pictures to show. Wish I had seen him go =)
