Geen eenvoudig cadeau, want eindelijk mogen dan hun zelfgemaakte Moederdag knutsels uit hun verstopplekjes komen. Maar ze proberen zo stil mogelijk door het huis te lopen. Helpen papa met het maken van het ontbijt. En als alles tot in de puntjes is verzorgd, mogen ze naar boven. Mama ‘wakker’ maken.
En daar staan ze dan. Vol verwachting met hun ingepakte kunstwerkjes in de hand. Bijna krijgen ze ruzie wie het eerst zijn cadeautje mag geven. Maar papa grijpt in. Geen geruzie vandaag. Iedereen komt aan de beurt.
En zo krijg ik vandaag een prachtige ijscoupe. Heel welkom op deze zonnige dagen ;-)

Today I’m in the spotlights. The day started with the ‘gift’ of sleeping in.
Not an easy present, as today they can finally get their handmade Mothers Day presents from their hiding places. They move through the house as quiet as they can. Help daddy fixing breakfast. And when everything is in order, they can go upstairs. To ‘wake up’ mom.
And there they are. Waiting eagerly with their pieces of art. Almost picking a fight about who can give his present first. But dad won’t have it. No bickering today. They will all get their turn.
So I get this delicious looking ice cream coupe. Such a nice treat on these hot summerlike days ;-)
