Vanavond tijdens het eten hebben we het erover wat we het liefste met de feestdagen willen eten. Enthousiast roept Jochem: Ostrich [struisvogel]!
René en ik beginnen te lachen en vragen waarom Ostrich!
Ja, dat wat we altijd met Thanksgiving aten!
Volgens mij bedoel je een ‘turkey’ [kalkoen] moppie...
Blijkbaar is niet al het Engels blijven hangen, maar grappig is het wel =)
Tonight during dinner we’re talking about what we would like to eat during the Holidays.
Jochem quickly exclaims: Ostrich!
René and I start laughing and ask why Ostrich?
Well that’s what we used to eat during Thanksgiving isn’t it!
I think you mean turkey, sweetie...
I guess he’s losing some of his English vocabulary, but funny it is =)
