Dear Friend

Ineens ging de tijd zo snel dat ik over een aantal dingen nog niet heb kunnen bloggen. Leuke dingen die zeker vermeld moeten worden, dus nu maar even zzzzzzzzzz rewind naar zondagmiddag.

Tijdens onze vakantie is lieve vriendin Suzanne uit Amerika gekomen voor een bliksem bezoekje. De telefoon gaat en S vraagt wat we eten vanavond. Uhhhh niet zo veel bijzonders eigenlijk. We zijn gisteravond thuis gekomen, dus de koelkast is nog angstaanjagend leeg.

Gelukkig zit de Chinees om de hoek, dus dat schaft de pot vanavond ;-) Volgens mij is dat een goede zet, want de Amerikaanse Chinees is totaal anders dan de Nederlandse. Dus S had wel zin in een portie Tjap Tjoy en Babi Pangang.

Het was super om elkaar weer even te zien en spreken. Natuurlijk veel te kort. Nog zoveel te vertellen. Nog zo veel te vragen. Maar gelukkig is het met de communicatie middelen goed gesteld. Dus dat komt wel goed.

Suz voorlopig blijft het weer bij mailen, MSN’nen, bloggen en bellen. Maar Zomer 2009 Enterprise. De afspraak staat!

All of a sudden time went so fast, I didn’t have the chance to blog about everything that happened. Some fun things, that really should be mentioned. So let’s zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz rewind to Sunday afternoon.

During our vacation dear friend Suzanne flew in from the States for a short visit. The phone rings and it’s S. What’s for dinner tonight? Duh, nothing much. We just got home last night, so the fridge is frightening empty.

But there’s always Chinese take-out. So I guess that’s what we’re having for dinner tonight. Good thinking, because American Chinese is very different from Dutch Chinese [Indonesian influence]. And S was ready for some Tjap Tjoy and Babi Bangang.

It was great seeing each other again. Way too short of course. So much more to tell. So much more to ask. But luckily we can’t complain about the possibilities of communication nowadays. So we’ll manage.

Suz for now, e-mail, MSN, blogspot and phone calls will have to do. But Summer 2009 Enterprise. It’s a date!
