Jep!
Alles dus helemaal prima.
The boys are doing great. J has a bit more talent than T. But both of them go full speed ahead. In every aspect of the word =) Every day they feel their lessons are over too soon [10 till 3.30]. Tireless they are. As soon as class is over, they race R to the ski lifts and come skiing down the red ski slope in front of our apartment as often as they can. Until 4.30 pm, then the lifts close down.
M needs a bit more time to settle in. The first morning we can see her think ‘What in de world are these people gibbering’. She likes playing in the snow. And sliding on these new ski’s is also a fun challenge. But still she doesn’t make it through the two hours her program lasts. When we get too close [for some pictures ;-)], she spots us and starts to cry. We can’t take that. It’s supposed to be fun for all of us.
For a moment we fear she’s still too young for this skiing adventure, but people can change. Especially little three year old girls. Next morning during breakfast, she tells us happily she’s going to play with her friends from ski class again. Yeah!
So everything went just great. Only set back was T. Thursday afternoon it seems he has asked too much of himself. He’s exhausted. His head hurts and so does his tummy. We take him home and hope this will blow over. But it doesn’t. And by Thursday night he’s really very ill. Running a fever over 104. So no more skiing for him and me on Friday. He’s so disappointed. No final ski race, no medal. Of course we make sure he does get his medal, but it’s still very sad.
I guess it’s simple, we just have to go again next year =)

Winter Wonderland
Zachtjes neuriënd: “Gone away is the bluebird, here to stay is a new bird. He sings a love song, when we go along. Walking in a winter wonderland.”

Stubborn plants
While leaves are falling of trees around me, and the roads are covered in acorns and chestnuts, other elements of nature aren’t ready to bend for fall yet.
